National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for position of an Field Engineer in Abu Dhabi. This job has recently been posted on company’s careers page and is open for all desirous candidates.

Job Duties of Field Engineer

• Studies and executes mobilisation plan.
• Ensure procedures are in place offshore and are followed.
• Ensures availability of work permits construction aids, equipment, materials and consumables.
• Forward planning, procedure preparation.
• Setting up, installing, configuring, and maintaining equipment or systems at customer sites or project locations.
• Allocate daily activities to works crews.
• Client/sub-contractor liaison.
• Assists Superintendents, Construction Engr., Project Manager, etc.
• Keeping detailed records of work performed, including reports, logs, and updates on equipment or system status.
• Conducting tests, inspections, and assessments to ensure that equipment or systems meet quality and safety standards.
• Completion documentation/as-builts / lessons learned.
• Providing on-site technical assistance to customers or clients, answering queries, and offering guidance on using products or systems.
• Promotes and ensures compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Service Quality (SQ) standards, practices and guidelines.

Job Requirements For Field Engineer

The eligibility requirements for the role of Field Engineer are as under:

Qualification

• B.Sc engineering or equivalent in the relevant field.

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in offshore work.
