Job Description
This full-time F&B Secretary role at the stunning Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi is the perfect admin job for an organised, English-fluent hotel pro who wants to work right in the heart of a luxury beachfront resort. You’ll be the backbone of the entire Food & Beverage department – handling rosters, invoices, reports, emails, purchasing, minutes and keeping the Director of F&B and 200+ outlet staff running like clockwork. Pay is AED 6,000–8,000/month all-inclusive + service charge (real take-home AED 8,000–11,000/month), single or shared accommodation, annual flight, medical, 30 days leave, duty meals and the famous Shangri-La worldwide staff rates. Straight day shifts (roughly 9–6), weekends off in rotation. Ideal for someone who loves five-star hospitality but prefers the office side.

Responsibilities
- Build and update staff rosters and attendance.
- Process purchasing requests and invoices.
- Type reports, minutes, letters for Director of F&B.
- Answer phones and emails for the whole department.
- Coordinate meetings and internal events.
- Keep training records and confidential files.
- Chase suppliers and follow up on orders.
Requirements
Education
High-school diploma + hospitality/admin qualification.
Experience
2–3 years as secretary or admin in a hotel (F&B preferred).
Must Have
- Fluent English (written & spoken).
- Fast and accurate MS Office (especially Excel & Word).
- Super organised and discreet with info.
- Valid UAE work eligibility or easy transfer.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Opera, Micros or Materials Control.
- Arabic is a bonus.
