Mandarin Abu Dhabi is presently looking for F&B Receptionist Intern. The selected candidate will be responsible to assist Chef de Rang in running the station efficiently. There is no gender restriction for this internship, both males and females can apply for this job.
Responsibilities of F&B Receptionist
- Understand the importance of attention to detail.
- Understanding Department LQE and SOPs
- Compliance with FLHSS standards
- Have a good understand of the menu
- Mise en place preparation
- Table set up
- Follow through sequence of service procedure
- Take beverages and food order
- Be committed to being a team player
- Opening closing the restaurant
- Be able to deliver service by understanding the guest requirements
- Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests
- Be able to operate the required steps on the POS – point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders
- Carry out all tasks in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner
- Keep all outlet equipment and utensils in good condition by proper day to day handling of all applicable utensils and by carrying out required side duties as assigned
- Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the General Manager
- Communicate well with colleagues and superiors to avoid misunderstanding or other shortfalls caused by lack of communication
- Have a natural, warm smile and a friendly and passionate approach towards guests
- Report guest’s preference to superiors and act upon them whenever known.
Requirements of F&B Receptionist
- Graduate / pursuing a study in Hospitality Management or relevant field.
