Fashion Buyer BFL Group Dubai

The Fashion Buyer is responsible to work closely with the Fashion Category Manager. Candidate must be able to work independently and prioritize job duties, as well as place and track purchase orders. The buyer is accountable to ensure all categories are purchased on time. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Fashion Buyer

• Work on files and negotiate with suppliers on selection of the right product mix.
• Prepare competitive retail and pricing strategies if needed in collaboration with the Category Manager.
• Proper selection of products, accurate pricing, correct allocation and ensure product range is market specific.
• Analyze history and current business to strategically forecast future opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions regarding price, resources, and fashion as they relate to trends and key items and react accordingly to impact sales.
• Plan, monitor & maintain suitable Inventory levels & prepare manual allocations wherever necessary.
• Monitor upcoming shipments if all manifests uploaded.
• Collate data from regional VM teams & store teams on product requirements.
• Coordinate with VM & Marketing team on incoming new products for stores to plan space & displays.
• Schedule market visits to see their in store displays, new product launches, store spaces.
• Propose promotion plans on slow sellers, ageing.
• Liaise with the relevant departments when needed and support the warehouse with the prices if any.

Requirements for Role of Fashion Buyer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2 years experience in fashion buying.
• Relevant experience as Buyer in a fast-paced retail environment.
