Job Description
IIQAF Group looking for a dedicated individual for role of Farmer who shares their passion for sustainable and high quality agricultural practices. This is a full-time, year round position in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Submit your application if you are interested.
Responsibilities of Farmer
- Cultivate and maintain crops by preparing soil, planting, weeding, fertilizing and harvesting according to seasonal schedules and best practices.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust farming techniques accordingly.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, equipment and irrigation systems.
- Monitor and maintain the health and well being of farm animals, including feeding, grooming and administering medications as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance on farm buildings, equipment and fencing.
- Keep accurate records of farm operations, including crop yields, animal records and inventory.
- Identify and take appropriate actions to address pests, diseases and other crop related issues.
- Ensure that all farming practices meet organic and sustainable standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute strategies for farm growth and improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements of Farmer
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- 1-2 years of experience operating and maintaining farm machinery & equipment.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding production targets.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and record keeping abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing farm needs and schedules.
- Understanding of plant and animal health and the ability to identify and address potential issues.
- Passion for agriculture and enthusiasm to learn and grow with the farm.
