Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence Human Computer Interaction (HCI) department expected to grow to 20 full time faculty, and they are now seeking applications for Open Rank Faculty Human Computer Interaction appointments. They invite candidates at all levels to apply. The Human Computer Interaction (HCI) department undertakes human centered, rigorous, high impact, original research that spans topics from pixels to policy in order to improve people’s lives. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, user interfaces, interaction design, accessibility, social computing, ubiquitous computing, wearable computing, human robot interaction, mobile devices, smart buildings and smart cities, healthcare informatics, educational technologies, AR/VR, data visualization, computer supported collaborative work, and the synergies between HCI and AI in general, for example, ethical guidelines and policy.

Job Requirements of Faculty Human Computer Interaction

• Applicants must have PhD in Human Computer Interaction or in a closely related area prior to start of the appointment.
