Majid Al Futtaim presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Facility Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the maintenance strategy within MAF Retail’s Distribution Center in line with country regulations, requirements and hygiene standards. The role holder is also responsible for ensuring that the center has the most suitable working environment for its operations.

Duties of Facility Manager

• Develop the Facility Assets Planned Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Maintain that the Facility assets are in proper working condition and are maintained regularly as per the standards.
• Test Generator, UPS, Fire & Life safety equipment monthly.
• Ensure availability of the minimum stock of required spares for the major equipment in the facility.
• Ensure availability of all necessary tools, material and requirements to maintain exemplary hygiene standards.
• Control the operating expense in line with the budget and propose a reduction plan.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility Requirements for role of a Facility Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
• 2+ years’ experience in Retail.

Skills Desired
