Job Overview of Facilities Supervisor
Supervising and leading the day-to-day operation and maintenance of facilities listed under non-retail. Ensuring that all aspects of building maintenance are taken into consideration to carry out preventive, reactive, corrective and proactive maintenance by Facilities Supervisor in UAE.
Duties as a Facilities Supervisor
- Ensuring the maintenance team is deployed effectively for delivering quality and timely
services. - Manage all specialist sub-contractors for service delivery.
- Deal with BU Representatives and Stakeholders.
- Address the concerns of BU Representatives and Stakeholders.
- Effectively maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- High school diploma.
- BSc/BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field is useful.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage.
Experience
- Preference is given to Candidates with previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, or a Related Field.
Skills & Knowledge
- A Facilities Supervisor needs to have knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance Principles.
- Analytical skills.
- Planning and Organizing.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- High level of customer Orientation/Understanding.
- The ability to Self-prioritize workload.
- Ability to command and manage a team. Facilities Supervisor should be able to plan, schedule, train and supervise the work of others.
- Ability and experience to lead and motivate a team and react fast when required.
- Knowledge of the local supplier market is an additional benefit.
