Facilities Manager in Healthcare at King’s College Hospital London in Dubai Hills, Dubai, UAE is responsible for the maintenance and management of the facilities services and processes that support the core business of King’s to ensure most suitable, healthy and safe environment for its employees and patients. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Facilities Manager

• Oversee management of tasks related to.
• Facilities, building and grounds maintenance.
• Health and safety.
• Fire safety and security.
• Utilities and communications infrastructure.
• Space management.
• Waste management.
• Procurement and contract management ( quality supply chain adherence).
• Project management, supervising and coordinating work of contractors (management of contractors).
• Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
• Liaising with management and hospital leadership in carrying out facilities and maintenance work; attendance and reporting into FMS committee (KPIs, etc).
• Coordinating and leading a team to cover various areas of responsibility.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise; attends all emergency drills.

Requirements for Role of Facilities Manager

• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field preferred or
• A Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification as minimum requirement.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospital or similar environment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
