Apparel Group presently has a job opening for qualified and experienced candidate for job position of a Facilities Assistant Manager in Dubai, UAE. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing residential properties and standalone company properties for specific brands.
Responsibilities of Facilities Assistant Manager
Property Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of residential properties and standalone company properties for designated brands within the Apparel Group.
Project Coordination
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction and renovation projects, ensuring they align with brand standards and timelines.
Sustainability and Solar Monitoring
- Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives, including solar projects, to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Local Authority Approvals
- Liaise with local authorities, like DEWA and Dubai Municipality, to obtain necessary approvals for construction, renovations, and sustainability projects.
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Budget Oversight
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets related to facility management and construction projects.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards for all managed properties.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, including brand management, to understand property needs and align facility management efforts with brand strategies.
Eligibility Requirements for Role of Facilities Assistant Manager
The eligibility criteria of Facilities Assistant Manager at Apparel Group is as under:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related role.
- 3-5 years of experience with solar and sustainability initiatives will be a significant advantage.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of local regulations and experience in obtaining approvals from DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and other relevant authorities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
