About the Role

Yasmina British Academy is seeking an outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027. This position is based in Abu Dhabi at one of the top-rated schools in the UAE. Furthermore, the successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum to EYFS students, creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of implementing effective strategies to raise standards and ensure outstanding progress for all young learners.

Key Responsibilities

As EYFS Teacher, you will plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning in line with the school’s policies, creating a climate conducive to outstanding practice. Additionally, you will identify clear teaching objectives, set targets building on prior attainment, and identify SEN, EAL, and Gifted and Talented students to ensure their needs are met through differentiation. Moreover, your duties include making effective use of assessment for learning, performance data, and ICT to enhance learning and progress. Furthermore, you will mark students’ work regularly, assess and record progress systematically, prepare informative reports for parents, and attend parent and student events. In addition, you will take part in subject development and collaborate with professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. Additionally, teaching experience in the English National Curriculum is required, with EYFS experience preferred. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach across the age and ability range with proven success. Moreover, a commitment to the school’s vision and mission, a passion for education, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Experience working in international schools is desirable along with strong interpersonal skills.
