Etisalat is looking for a highly talented and suitably qualified candidate for the role of Expert Engineer / RAN Design & Evolution | 400 in Dubai. This is a mid to senior level full time career opportunity and aspirants meeting the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.
Principle Functions
- Represent Etisalat by e& in the international meetings related to ITU, 3GPP, standardization etc.
- Manage the Spectrum requirements for Access Networks.
- Participate in 3GPP studies, industry trends awareness, new bands studies, etc.
- Leading the strategy of the spectrum design and refarming activities.
- Conduct the technical mobile consultations in coordination with RA and TDRA.
- Study the requirements of the spectrum related to new access technologies.
- Manage the spectrum interference activities.
Duties Of Expert Engineer Design And Evolution
- Manage TDRA alignment meetings and discussion for spectrum related issues (5G, 5G advance & Private network spectrums, Access Networks)
- Handling the POCs of the new technologies (5G advance, IOT, Access Networks new technology etc) testing with vendors and partners.
- Manage all Etisalat spectrum authorization and renewal (Fixed, mobile and satellite).
- Participate in the regional groups meeting (GCC and ASMG).
- Participate in international and industry meetings for standardization and harmonization (3GPP, ITU , GSMA meetings).
- Participate in 5D-ITU meetings and covering the Agenda Items that are in the Etisalat’s interest.
- Spectrum Management internally and externally, and that includes quarterly spectrum reviews as well as interference technical support.
- Spectrum Strategy for Etisalat, Industry trends and future growth strategies related to 5G advance, IOT, private networks Access Networks.

- Bachelors in technology.
- 7 years of experience.
- Emirati.
