Responsibilities Of Executive Zakat & Charity Collection & Development

  • Implementing the department’s annual executive and operational plan regarding the department’s work.
  • Develop plans for collection, inventory, and annual clothing bank.
  • Follow up and participate in the work of the collection and inventory team in accordance with the policies and regulations stipulated in the decision to form the collection and inventory team.
  • Follow up on the work of the Clothing Bank team in accordance with the policies and regulations stipulated in the decision to form the team.
  • Proposing the department’s annual budget and preparing the necessary reports.
  • Participate in implementing the process of accepting and receiving zakat funds, charity and donations through the Emirates Charity system or cash and in-kind donations.

What you will do more?

  • Develop a plan for distributing and replacing boxes for accepting donations and charity and following up on it.
  • Participate in implementing the religious awareness plan regarding the obligation of zakat and its role in life, urging Muslims to pay and give it, taking the necessary means to remind them in coordination with the competent authorities.
  • Urging and encouraging community members to make donations and spread the culture of charitable work.
  • Follow up and process suggestions, complaints, observations, and respond to inquiries received from donors and those concerned with donation activities.
  • Preparing financial reports for the Zakat and Charity Affairs Department (financial collection report).
  • Implementing regulations governing the collection of zakat funds and donations.
  • Preparing and updating the database for fundraising and details of the amounts collected through it, with periodic reports.
  • Preparing the necessary reports and documents for performance indicators in coordination with the organizational unit employees.
  • Preparing and drafting drafts of memos, correspondence, and minutes of meetings related to its work, archiving them, and following up on the implementation of its recommendations.
  • Follow up on the decisions and circulars that are related to work, ensure the implementation according to the established procedure.
  • Compliance with the department’s security policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to attending security awareness workshops.
  • Report security incidents if encountered.

Requirements Of Executive Zakat & Charity Collection & Development

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration /Accounting or equivalent + no experience.
  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent specialty + 2 years.
