Job Description

Apparel Group, a prominent retail company based in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as an Executive Tax in Jabel Ali South, Dubai, UAE. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of their organization by managing various aspects of tax compliance and strategy. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Executive Tax

  • Implementation of Newly Introduced Tax Streams: Lead the implementation of recently introduced tax streams in local legislation, including Corporate taxes and Transfer Pricing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Affiliate Tax Processes: Execute and oversee affiliate tax processes, leveraging your experience to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparation of TP Support Files: Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing (TP) Support files, adhering to established standards and regulations.
  • Tax Return Preparation and Filing: Take ownership of tax return preparation, covering Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT). And Withholding Tax (WHT), and ensure timely and accurate filing.
  • Obligation Compliance: Guarantee the timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations in the respective markets, overseeing the entire process from preparation to submission.
  • Payment Management: Oversee the timely payment and/or refund of all tax obligations to maintain financial compliance.
  • Legislation Awareness: Stay up-to-date with relevant tax legislation in the region, providing timely updates and recommendations to ensure compliance.

Requirements for Role of Executive Tax

  • Hold a professional qualification as a Qualified Chartered Accountant from India.
  • Possess 1-2 years of direct tax experience in a multinational group and matrix-reporting environment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Candidates from the GCC region following the same tax regime is a plus.
  • Ability to contribute to system changes and implementation from a tax perspective.
