Purpose of A Senior Executive Human Resources

To support the performance management, data consolidation exercises, develop job descriptions, organization structures, provide support on the Rewards Cycle activities, which will include the administration and communication of salary reviews throughout the year.

Duties of A Senior Executive Human Resources

  • Advises line managers regarding structure and wording of job descriptions, ensuring consistency and standardization.
  • Develops job descriptions to articulate the roles and responsibilities of the role and the job specifications required of the role holder.
  • Tracks and reports on the job description development and approval progress to ensure their timely development.
  • Build and update organization structure for the Head Office and standardize org structures for the Business Units.
  • Assists in the promotion and salary adjustment process and reviews. documentation for appropriateness, ensure approvals and creates summary data for review.
  • Assists in the annual Staffing budget process. Liaises with finance to provide annual employee payroll budget data.
  • Assists with finance department inquiries and reporting.
  • Supports the annual review and renewal of all benefits programs.
  • Assists in annual performance Management program.
  • Creates and completes reports and analytics monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
  • Performs analysis to provide trends and recommendations and ensures accuracy of data.
  • Continuously improves the functionality of the HRIS, ensuring data quality and value.
  • Prepares employee communication letters for transfers, promotions and other rewards associated processes.
  • Reviews offer letters, employment contracts, and related paperwork (extension, termination, addendums to employment contracts, etc.), ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the management and department heads in development of forms and processes by job family for NMC.
  • Maintain, monitor and enhance the performance management of the organization.
  • Advise employees on the policies and procedures necessary to advance individual performance in alignment with NMC’s business objectives.
  • Manage all activities related to the performance management cycle and manage all communication, sensitization and monitoring of the process to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business needs.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Finance will be an advantage.
  • 4 – 5 years of progressive career experience as a generalist and /or Total Rewards.

Knowledge and Skills Desired

  • Ability to work with large quantities of sensitive data.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
