Event Manager Charterhouse Dubai

Charterhouse is working exclusively in partnership with a leading organisation which specializes in organizing a variety of industry-related technical conferences and seminars throughout the GCC. The client is looking to hire a meticulously organized Event Manager to join their small team in Dubai, responsible for the proactive management of event planning and execution across the region.

About Role of Event Manager

• Coordinating all aspects of industry-specific conferences, exhibitions and seminars from conception to completion, including marketing, vendor arrangements, attendee and participant registration in addition to on-site management.
• Developing and implementing programs to enhance the company offerings within the region, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Working closely with the regional leaders, the Event Manager will also provide administrative support and contribute towards the region’s business plan.
• Handling of financial related activity such as managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts and handling all event-related invoices.

Requirements of Event Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of proven track record of working in event management, preferably coupled with experience in execution of corporate or professional events.
• Prior experience in supplier invoicing and reconciliation.

Additional Requirements

• Regular travel across the GCC therefore individuals must be flexible to travel often at short notice in line with business requirements.
