EV Car Technician Al Futtaim Automotive Dubai

An EV Car Technician  at Al Futtaim Group will be responsible to perform automotive care tasks in the open yard such as checking fluid levels, rotating tires, checking the AC, changing oil fluids and inspection of the entire car.   

Duties of EV Car Technician

• Start engine, run AC to idle for 10 mins.
• Update date on mirror tag.
• Damage and rust inspection.
• Tire pressure check and inflation of tire.
• Apply identification stickers on tire sidewall to mark ground contact points.
• Check battery charge and attach analyzer printout.
• Tire rotation, brake test, fueling and yard activities.
• To specialize in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of electric vehicles.
• Responsibilities may include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, installing EV charging stations, conducting safety inspections, and staying updated on the latest EV technology developments.

Requirements for EV Car Technician

• Matriculation Level/ITI/Diploma .
• 3 years of previous experience in Automobile workshop.

Skills Desired

• Should have knowledge on major automotive parts and their functions.
• Good knowledge in lithium batteries.
• UAE Manual Driving License is a must.
• Should be exceptional as interacting with different departments is essential for this role.
• Should be willing to work in an open yard.
