Responsibilities of Enterprise Systems Projects Group Manager 

• Developing and maintaining the project plan which includes defining the project’s scope, objectives, goals, tasks, and resource needs.
• Monitoring the project’s costs, making sure that costs stay within the approved budget, as well as managing budget changes.
• Management of project stakeholders, letting them about project status, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
• Management of the project team, including work delegation, progress monitoring, and ensuring that team members are on track to accomplish project goals and deadlines.
• Managing any vendors or third-party contractors involved in the project, contract negotiation, and managing vendor performance.
• Identifying and controlling project risks, as well as creating plans for mitigation and contingency plans.
• Assuring the project complies with quality standards, which includes creating and putting into practice quality assurance procedures and carrying out quality checks at various stages of the project’s lifecycle.
• Creating and presenting project reports to senior management, project sponsors, and other stakeholders.
• Responsible for managing project changes, including documenting change requests, assessing the impact of changes, and implementing approved changes.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working, promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements for Enterprise Systems Projects Group Manager

The eligibility requirements for role of Enterprise Systems Projects Group Senior Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Master’s degree in commerce is a plus.
• 9-10+ years of combined experience in domestic and international supply chain, Warehousing and Transportation.
• At least 7 years of experience in logistics solutions design and deployment
• At least 5 years of experience managing multiple projects directly or through direct reports.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to handle communications, reporting, status reports, issues logs, for multiple projects/ customers simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills (Bilingual) to support weekly status call, steering committee meetings, customer presentations, etc.
• Strong public speaking skills (Bilingual) to prepare and deliver oral presentations internally and with customer teams.
