Abu Dhabi Ports presently has a job opening for an eligible candidate for position of a Enterprise System Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for administration and maintaining critical enterprise-level software and hardware systems. expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and integration will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Duties of An Enterprise System Engineer

Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of enterprise systems.
This includes administration of user access and permissions, configuring system settings, troubleshooting issues, and applying system updates and patches.
Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.
Monitor system performance and capacity, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed.
Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
Work with other teams to plan and implement changes to systems, including new deployments, updates and OS and application patches.
Implement and enforce security measures and best practices to protect enterprise systems and data.
Monitor system security logs, perform vulnerability assessments, and address any security vulnerabilities or incidents promptly.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Facilitate implementation of enterprise systems, which may include ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), HRIS (Human Resources Information System), or other mission-critical systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure successful integration and deployment.
Assess the impact of system upgrades and enhancements on existing infrastructure, applications, and processes.
Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, or system consolidation projects.
