The Aquila School Dubai (part of International Schools Partnership, ISP) is actively hiring for the job role of a Secondary English Teacher. The selected candidate will join English faculty of the school for next academic year (in August 2024). The aspiring candidate must have experience in IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program). Job Purpose of A Secondary English Teacher

Responsible to cover complete english syllabi through effective teaching methodologies, aimed at bringing out desired outcomes from pupils.

Job Duties of A Secondary English Teacher

• Deliver complete English syllabi.
• Lead learning so that lessons are engaging and relevant, enabling every child to make as much progress as possible.
• Ensure teaching and learning are of the highest standard and personalised to specifically meet individual needs.
• Identify weak students in the class who need special focus or attention.
• Develop speaking skills and reading habits amongst the students.
• Develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community.
• Able to use initiative, flexible, fun, proactive and positive.
• Perform any other job duty as asked by the school authorities.

Qualification & Experience

• IDBP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program qualified.
• At least 3 years experience from teaching the Diploma Programme in an International Baccalaureate World School.
