English Teacher – Sunmarke School, Dubai

Sunmarke School, part of Fortes Education in Dubai, is recruiting an experienced English Teacher to deliver English Language and Literature across secondary year groups. This is an opportunity to join an ‘Outstanding’ KHDA-rated school in a vibrant international community.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level English examinations
• Plan engaging lessons using diverse literary texts and media
• Develop students’ analytical, creative writing and communication skills
• Contribute to English department enrichment activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English or English Literature
• PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience at secondary level
• Experience with UK examination boards
