Engineering Manager Duncan & Ross Dubai

Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies on oil and gas projects in the Middle East. This role will oversee the engineering phase of projects, ensuring that all engineering activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 20000 AED to 40000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview process.

Duties of An Engineering Manager

•  Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee the engineering phase of oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement engineering processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and drawings.
• Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering department.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting professional growth and development.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Engineering Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). A Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering roles within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on EPC projects in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
