Engineer, ADNOC Abu Dhabi

• Prepares Completion Workover Programs.
• Works closely with other groups to assure the programs are based on all available information from nearby wells
• Prepares cost estimates and AFE’s for completions and workovers.
• Ensure all programmes and AFEs are produced in a timely manner.
• Progress time and cost charts for the Completion or Workover phase.
• Participates as completion and workover representative in the Well delivery process (WDP).
• Interacts with asset teams during well planning, execution and post completion/workover review.
• Provides rig site technical assistance to Drilling Supervisors and third Party Offshore Completion Engineers during operations.
• Trouble shoots operational and technical completion and workover problems.
• Follow up make up / testing of completion sub assemblies in coordination with all concerned parties.
• Conducts equipment technical evaluation after getting technical submission from vender in order to select the correct equipment for different applications.
• Maintains close liaison with services companies engineers, and keep abreast of recent developments in the area of well completion technology, equipment, practices, etc.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts studies on adaptability of such technology to ADNOC Offshore operations and makes appropriate recommendations.
• Participates in industry organizations such as SPE, API and/or IADC.
• Participate in scope of work preparation for the new contracts.
• Participate in end of well review and prepare presentation to show job sequence, NPT & lessons learned. Generic Accountabilities Supervision
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job.
• Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
• Implement approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department in line with the Company Performance framework.
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards.
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and Sustainability.
• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Petroleum or Mechanical).

Experience 

• 5 to 6 years of experience, including at least experience in completion / workover operations in oil & gas operations.
