Emergency Preparedness Training Engineer ENEC

Emergency Preparedness Training Engineer at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation/NAWAH is responsible to develop & support implementation of the Barakah Onsite Emergency Preparedness Training Program. Ensure alignment with offsite training and provide maintenance of the program as appropriate includes planning, reporting, procedure,documentation, responsibilities to drive best practices across the organization.

Duties of Emergency Preparedness Training Engineer

The duties of Emergency Preparedness Training Engineer are as under :-

NAWAH Emergency

• Maintain the NAWAH Emergency Preparedness training procedures and other documentation to ensure the governance of the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of emergency preparedness training.

Planning, Monitoring and Reporting

• File training-related findings and opportunities for improvement into a formal corrective action program, in order to track those items to completion.

Emergency Preparedness Training

• Participate in the development, revision and delivery of program,to enhance program effectiveness.
• Develop the training matrices for personnel assigned to the Nawah emergency response organization.
• Train other individuals requiring emergency preparedness-related training in order to maintain qualifications.
• Support the maintenance of the training program database in order to maintain records for staff.
• Participate in training to attain and maintain proficiency in the development of the program, as appropriate.
• Provide assistance to maintain the Emergency Plan Training Program to ensure it is up to date.

Emergency Response Facilities and Equipment

• Verify availability of training facilities, equipment & communication systems required to support training activities to ensure facility readiness.
• Verify sufficient simulator time is scheduled to support emergency preparedness-related training activities, as appropriate to ensure resource availability.

Training and Qualifications

• Develop the appropriate training plans, training materials, and awareness sessions.
• Ensure that team members receive the necessary training and skills required for their development.
• Keep current with emergency preparedness-related best practices.
• Update colleagues, as appropriate to diffuse knowledge related to emergency training throughout organization.
• Execute all required initial and refresher training courses and requirements.
• Maintain the required qualifications and certifications in areas of specialization.

Requirements For The Role Of Emergency Preparedness Training Engineer 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other Physical Science discipline associated with power plant operations or
• Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
