Job Purpose of A Emergency Medical Technician

To provide emergency medical treatment and transportation services to patients in line with  regulatory authority guidelines.

Your Duties As A Emergency Medical Technician

  • To provide a comprehensive emergency medical service to patients in accordance with all the regulatory guidelines.
  • To ensure that life support equipment is in good working order and managed according to company policy.
  • To ensure continuous professional development standards are adhered to aimed at ensuring a high quality of patient services.
  • To manage and monitor all administration related to billing and cash handling in line with company policy.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping practices are followed to prevent potential risk and ensure legal compliance.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • A relevant 3 year Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P).
  • A recognised Intermediate Life Support qualification (EMT-I).

License

  • Licensed as Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic / Intermediate with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.

Experience

  • At least 2 years experience in an Emergency Medical Services environment.
  • A minimum of 1600 working hours during the last 24 months in an Emergency Medical Service position.
  • Proof of a valid driver’s license.

Skills Desired

  • Client service and related management principles.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English.
