The role purpose of an Emergency Medical Technician at Mediclinic Corporate is to provide emergency medical treatment and transportation services to patients in line with relevant regulatory authority guidelines. Responsibilities of Emergency Medical Technician

• To provide a comprehensive emergency medical service to patients in accordance with all the relevant regulatory guidelines.
• To ensure that life support equipment is in good working order and managed according to relevant guidelines and company policy.
• To ensure continuous professional development standards are adhered to aimed at ensuring a high quality of patient services.
• To manage and monitor all administration related to billing and cash handling in line with standard company policy.
• Ensure following of accurate record keeping practices to prevent potential risk and unsure legal compliance.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Emergency Medical Technician at Mediclinic: 

Qualifications

• A relevant 3 year Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P).
• A recognized Intermediate Life Support qualification (EMT-I).
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic/Intermediate with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.

Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in an Emergency Medical Services environment.
• A minimum of 1600 working hours during the last 24 months in an Emergency Medical Service position and proof of a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge & Skills

• Client service and related management principles.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
