Emergency Medical Technician Fakeeh University Hospital Dubai

The Emergency Medical Technician at Fakeeh University Hospital provides basic life support and transfer inter-facility patients who are defined as Acuity Levels “Non acute Care”. Partnered with a Paramedic, he can assist with “Acute Non Emergent Care”& “Acute Emergent Care”. The role holder will ensure the proper working of life support equipment.

Responsibilities of Emergency Medical Technician

• Responsible for providing emergency medical treatment and transportation services to patients in traumas, accidents, cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Manage and monitor all administration related to cash handling and billing.
• Maintain accurate record of patients.
• Assess patient’s condition and administer emergency medical care.
• In case of any airway obstruction,clear it.
• Assess traumas, injuries and illnesses.
• Must be willing to transport patients to hospital.
• Administer medications on requirement.
• Must be able to perform CPR.
• In case of bleeding, apply bandages to the wounds and control haemorrhage.
• Assist in emergency childbirth.

Eligiblity Criteria

Following are the requirements for the role of Emergency Medical Technician/ RN at Fakeeh University Hospital:

• Graduation in Medical Specialty.
• Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience post registration/certification.
• Experience in ER or Ambulance as EMT post registration/certification.
