ELV Technical Manager G4S Global Abu Dhabi

G4S is currently looking for an experienced and visionary ELV Technical / Maintenance Manager for Electronic Security Systems Division, someone who thrives on innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to craft ELV designs and solutions that seamlessly integrate with various security systems and third-party solutions.

Duties of ELV Technical Manager

• Responsible for all aspects of project management and engineering from sales to final account to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Development of Project Plan with the team and manage the team’s performance of project tasks.
• Update monthly Revenue forecast & Collections plans.
• Preparation of monthly payment application and follow up on payment certificate and regular follow-up for timely payment.
• Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project sponsor and stakeholders.
• Responsible for communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues and in general making sure that the project is delivered on budget, on schedule and within scope.
• Ensure that the maintenance of ELV related systems (CCTV, ACS, PA, BGM, BMS etc.) are carried out i.e. remedial repairs and preventative maintenance of all kinds of ELV systems like CCTV systems, Security systems, Security Gates, Central Battery System, and Lighting control system and associated equipment.
• Carry out first instance diagnosis of the above ELV Systems Engineer in resolving faults.
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
• Procurement of best buys for all materials with a view to providing better value engineering and so increase revenue, coordination of all engineering staff and contractors, attend and chair meetings, establishment of best practices, software engineering, commissioning, full reporting and documentation.
• Managing project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of targets within the time and cost parameters.

What You’ll Do More?

• Lead, coordinate and communicate with Subcontractors, Maintenance / Project team, vendors, manufacturers and customers on various project activities.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Track project status reports, project timelines and milestones and deliverables.
• Escalate issues at the right time, so as not to affect the project delivery schedule, any escalations with respect to the scope devotions or assumptions are clearly backed up with adequate documentation.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of an ELV Technical Manager are as under:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree/diploma holder in Electrical, Electronics, IT or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in handling execution of large security systems projects.
• Minimum 5-8 Years of Experience in Technical & Maintenance Management.

Skills

• Project execution with understanding of project reports and operational controls.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in designing ELV, AV, and Security systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards such as SIRA, and MCC.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of low current systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intercom, Gate barriers, Intruder Alarm, Network configuration etc.
• Proficient in MS Office application – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Projects.
• With a valid UAE driving license.
