Job Description

National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) is presently looking for suitably qualified candidate for job position of a Electrician PLT (Power, Lightning & Temperature) in Abu Dhabi. Founded in 1973 & Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, NPCC is a World class Engineering, Procurement & Construction Company that provides total EPC solutions to both off shore and onshore oil and gas sector. It provides engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication, installation and commissioning services to project owners and operators. Company has relationships with most of the Operating Companies (OPCOs), National Oil Companies (NOCs) and International Oil Companies (IOCs) built by good track record of project delivery, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Job Purpose of A Electrician

Install, troubleshoot and maintain power, lighting, and temperature systems to support offshore construction and maintenance projects.

Job Duties of A Electrician

  • Service activities on electrical equipment / installations.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams for equipment and control system.
  • Fair knowledge about operation & maintenance of soft starters and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD).
  • Receives work orders.
  • Determines tools & construction aid needed.
  • Maintains tools & equipment.
  • Clean & safe workplace.
  • Compliance to HSE Standards and policies.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification 

  • Secondary school or equivalent.

Certification

  • 2 years of trade certificate at an accredited trade school.

Experience

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in Electrical equipment field.

Knowledge and Skills Desired

  • Good standard of written / spoken English.
  • Ability to use parts & workshop manuals.
