Responsibilities of EEG Technician

• To perform EEG procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• To monitor and record EEG processes and results.
• To support the multidisciplinary team with relevant clinical services in line with licensure requirements.
• To record all relevant patient information accurately in patient information systems.
• To monitor and manage the maintenance and safe functioning of relevant EEG equipment.
• To provide general administrative support to the department.

Role Requirements

Following are the requirements for the role of EEG Technician at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science OR a relevant diploma Respiratory Therapy or Neurophysiology.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certificate.
• At least 3 years’ experience post qualification in a related field within a hospital setting.
