Job Description

The Center for Outcomes and Research in Education (CORE) team at MBRU is accepting applications for the position of Educational Technology Systems Developer. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing educational experiences by leveraging your expertise in WordPress, HTML, CSS, systems administration, and more.

Duties of Educational Technology Systems Developer

To utilize your expertise in WordPress to develop and enrich online platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
To use your analytical skills to evaluate WordPress plugins and other emerging technology tools to determine their fit for various projects.
To collaborate with project teams to create and optimize educational technology solutions.
To apply HTML and CSS skills to fine tune digital content and web elements.
To leverage your hardware and software experience to troubleshoot and maintain technology solutions.
To contribute to the production of research publications.
To work with others in CORE by mentoring junior staff and sharing knowledge through working groups.

Job Requirements of Educational Technology Systems Developer

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Educational Technology, Computer Science or similar area).
Minimum 3 year experience in similar role.
Proven experience with WordPress, HTML, and CSS with the capability to integrate and enhance digital content and web elements.
Experience in LMS administration, chatbot development, and/or intranet development a plus.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of educational technology solutions.
A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and innovations in educational technology.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
