Seddiqi Holding is looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to join their Mizzen team in Umm Al Sheif, Dubai, UAE and drive the growth and success of e-commerce businesses, ensuring alignment with the organization’s digital and omnichannel strategies. The job holder is responsible for collaborating with the management to align on website Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), seasonal launches, promotions, and product/system updates and working with cross-functional teams, including buying & merchandising, marketing, operations, technology, and finance, to achieve revenue and profitability goal. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 13000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Ecommerce Operations Manager

  • Ecommerce Management: Drive the sales performance of the D2C (E-commerce website) and 3rd party marketplaces.
  • Develop and implement effective e-commerce growth strategies to identify and capture a new customer base and business opportunities.
  • Oversee the full P&L, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.
  • Ecommerce Operations: Maintain and update SOP for existing and new process in collaboration with Omnichannel team.
  • Support Omnichannel services like click & collect.
  • Manage cross-functional operations within one or more warehouses.
  • Provide employee training and workforce development.
  • Review fulfillment and replenishment workflows.
  • Overview and maintain SLA for deliveries for orders and returns.
  • Overlook all reconciliation for payment and logistics.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze, synthesize, and present data in an actionable way for all stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and the competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department.
  • Communicate ecommerce business performance through a variety of metrics and KPIs, including share of search, product page performance, and brand compliance across ecommerce websites and 3rd party channels.
  • Merchandising: Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Oversee inventory management, fulfilment, and customer service operations related to the D2C channel; Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Highlight products that require reshuffling, periodic promotions, and discounts aligned with the brand strategy.
  • Ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained to capitalize on sales.

What you will do more

  • Marketing & Customer Experience (CX) Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns, to effectively reach and engage their target audience.
  • Evaluate promotional campaigns with the Marketing team.
  • Work cross-functionally to create automation- and process-optimization tools, leveraging the power of automation to deliver rigorous customer data.
  • Enhance customer experience by working closely with other departments, such as marketing, content, and customer service.
  • Optimize end-to-end e-commerce journey for customers, from lead generation to conversion and post-purchase follow-up.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer complaints and escalation.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with warehousing teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal teams as well as freelancers and agencies.
  • Work with the ecommerce product team for feature enhancements and improvements on the ecommerce website.
  • Collaborate closely with different teams (product management, graphics, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across eCommerce platforms.
  • Partner with category managers and merchandising teams to ensure effective product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

Requirements for Role of Ecommerce Operations Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years job related experience and 3+ years of experience in the e-commerce industry with a proven track record of driving online sales and achieving revenue targets.
  • At least 1 year managing e-commerce for a sports brand.
  • Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento and Salesforce.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in Arabic being an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
