Job Requirements of Early Childhood Teachers

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Primary. Advanced qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Early Years teacher. IB experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong subject and pedagogical knowledge is essential. Experience with Read, Write, Inc. is preferred but not essential.
• A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
