Job Purpose of An E Commerce Marketing Specialist

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that amplify brand awareness, engagement and sales across various online channels.

Duties of An E Commerce Marketing Specialist

  • Develop and manage high-impact Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns to increase visibility, drive traffic and enhance sales performance.
  • Implement and refine SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic and enhance overall online visibility.
  • Create and execute compelling email marketing campaigns that nurture customer relationships, drive repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Devise and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that seamlessly integrate online platforms, maximizing brand exposure and engagement.
  • Initiate and manage both tactical and strategic marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and drive immediate and long term results. 
  • Define detailed customer personas for precise targeting and tailored marketing efforts.
  • Strategically utilize social media platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversions while staying current with emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to optimize website user experience and user interface, ensuring seamless navigation and conversion paths.
  • Oversee product listings, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and effective presentation across all online channels.
  • Manage product feeds and optimize Google Merchant Center listings to enhance product visibility on Google platforms.
  • Provide guidance and creative direction for visuals, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand identity. 

What You’ll Do More?

  • Monitor and enhance the entire customer journey, from initial awareness to post purchase engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the customer journey, enhancing user experience and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Conduct in depth research on products and target customers to inform marketing strategies and identify market trends.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret data, draw actionable insights and make data driven decisions.
  • Stay abreast of Ecommerce and retail industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners to develop impactful collaborations that expand brand reach and credibility.
  • Oversee content creation and distribution across digital channels, ensuring consistency, relevance and engagement.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of retail strategies and apply them effectively to Ecommerce operations.
  • Perform other job related duties as required by management.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field​.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in E Commerce marketing, preferably with Shopify expertise. 
  • Experience with website UX/UI optimization and product/catalog management.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Full English proficiency is required. 
  • Ability to strategize and execute marketing campaigns that drive results. 
  • Proficiency in customer persona identification and product positioning. 
  • Familiarity with Google Merchant Center and web analytics tools. 
  • Creative mindset with the ability to provide clear visual direction. 
  • Analytical mindset and skills for market and data analysis. 
  • Understanding of retail strategies and industry trends. 
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of SEM, SEO, email marketing, and social media marketing.
