Job Description

TAQA is hiring a driver in the UAE to help move people, tools, and materials safely and on time between different work locations across the UAE. This role is vital to ensure operations run smoothly and safely. The Driver will report to the Logistics Supervisor or Operations Supervisor.

Location & Work Type

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: UAE (Multiple sites)
  • Shift: Rotational (day/night)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive light or heavy company vehicles safely as assigned
  2. Transport personnel, tools, equipment, and materials to work/maintenance sites
  3. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure road readiness
  4. Comply with UAE traffic laws and internal safety procedures
  5. Assist with the safe loading and unloading of materials
  6. Maintain trip logs, fuel usage, and delivery records
  7. Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for timely deliveries

Requirements

  • Must-Have Requirements
  • Valid UAE driving license (light or heavy as applicable)
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of the UAE road safety and traffic laws
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Nice-to-Have 
  • Defensive driving certification
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or construction sectors
  • Heavy vehicle permit (for specific roles)
  • 2–5 years of relevant driving experience, especially for senior roles

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Entry-Level Driver: AED 2,500 – 4,000 monthly
  • Experienced Driver: AED 4,000 – 6,000 monthly
  • Heavy Vehicle Driver: AED 5,000 – 7,500 monthly
