Key Responsibilities of a Driver
- Operate light vehicles, light buses, and heavy buses for transporting personnel and equipment
- Follow UAE traffic laws and maintain a spotless driving record
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues
- Communicate with supervisors to coordinate daily transport schedules
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and compliant with safety protocols
- Assist with site logistics when needed
- Accurately document trip logs and overtime
Requirements for the Driver role
- Must-Have: Valid UAE driver’s license (Category 3, 5, and 6)
- 5+ years of driving experience in UAE construction or logistics
- Safe driving habits with no traffic violations
- Good understanding of UAE roads and traffic rules
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in construction environments
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools
- Knowledge of construction site safety
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting/maintenance skills
- Arabic or Hindi language skills
