About the Role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Drama Teacher to join their growing family of schools for the Academic Year 2026-2027 starting in August. Key Responsibilities

As Drama Teacher, you will deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes. Additionally, you will plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within your classes, motivating pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching. Moreover, your duties include organising classroom provision and learning resources, creating engaging displays, and assessing children in line with school assessments using Target Tracker. Furthermore, you will manage classes effectively using the school’s behaviour policy, maintain positive relationships with pupils, and be a positive role model. In addition, you will contribute to curriculum action groups, support school events, run a weekly extra-curricular activity each term, and communicate effectively with parents.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Drama or a related subject along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of one to two years of teaching experience is required. Furthermore, previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is desirable. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, commitment to educating the whole child, and recent involvement in extra-curricular activities. A positive and solution-focused attitude along with a clean enhanced DBS check or police check is also required.
