Door Attendant (Concierge), Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island UAE

Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Door Attendant. The aspiring candidate will work at Front Office department of Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort (a subsidiary of Jumeirah Group) in Abu Dhabi. This job has been posted by Jumeirah Group on 21 September 2023 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of A Door Attendant

A Door Attendant welcomes and assists guests at a building’s entrance, ensuring a positive first impression and providing assistance as needed.

Duties of A Door Attendant

• Greets all guests entering and leaving the hotel entrance, using the appropriate salutation.
• Assists guests arriving at the hotel entrance by car, opening the door(s) of the vehicle, and when necessary, assisting the guests to alight.
• Co-ordinates with the bell staff in order to have luggage/parcels removed from vehicles of guests arriving at the hotel entrance and to arrange for their delivery.
• Hails taxis for guests, using the hotel’s designated taxi company.
• Assists guests with general enquiries about the hotel, its’ facilities, events and functions taking place and about Abu Dhabi and the surrounding area of Saadiyat Island.
• Must be able to perform any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.

Experience

• 2 years experience in same position in Luxury hotel.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Strong communication skills and effective listening.
• English proficiency is a must, additional knowledge in any Russian, Arabic, Chinese.
• Prior knowledge in LQA and Forbes standards.
