Dubai Ports (DP) World is actively hiring qualified and experienced candidate for job role of a Director TPI. The selected candidate will manage and be accountable for Third Party Inspections business financial and technical performances, deliver high level of crane multi-disciplinary engineering with in-house structural engineering expertise to meet varying complex engineering projects, deliver the company’s business goals and financial objectives, to continually evaluate the market, seize business opportunities, grow the revenues, and keep cost under control while improving WCS market competitiveness. 

Responsibilities of Director TPI

• Overall responsibility for the P&L of the Third-Party Crane Inspection Business in WCS.
•  To maintain knowledge of technological developments and ensure that WCS is always up to date on technical advances in the crane and port industry.
• To develop the business in various other industries
• Plan and implement annual and long-term revenue and P&L budgets.
• Provide in-house structural engineering expertise, knowledge and technical service.
• Lead the inspection team and support them to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide Multi-disciplinary technical and engineering expertise in house.
• Work closely with the COO and Projects teams to provide detailed structural engineering solutions for Port Crane projects.
• Build relationships with new customers and improve existing relationships.
• Identify and develop new opportunities and revenue streams.
• Plan and ensure completion of projects within budget, time and up to required quality standards.
• Ensure that the highest level of safety is applied in all WCS activities.
• Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with WCS values and culture.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and polices those of WCS and of the customer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure WCS engineering activities comply with applicable legislation and regulations worldwide as appropriate.
• Represent WCS before regulatory agencies and other industry and professional associations.

Job Requirements for Role of Director TPI

The eligibility requirements for role of Director TPI are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Structural Engineer with minimum 10 years experience in crane industry.
• Required Chartered Engineer.
