Responsibilities of Director Strategic Partnership

  • Develop a clear strategy for Strategic Partnerships that gives direction for the identification and selection of key accounts and will align with overarching commercial strategy, focussing business development efforts on high-revenue clients.
  • Prepare and oversee calendar of events & activities for Jumeirah Group and ensure successful delivery.
  • Direct all department activities relating to Sport, Festivals/ Special events, Partnerships, Charities/ CSR.
  • Direct and oversee the delivery of all internal communications relating to pre and post event communications and reports.
  • Develop and implement accounts plans for key clients and partners and communicate these to the relevant corporate and SBU departments, ensuring key client centricity, consistency and integration of key client management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current and future prospective partners (luxury brands, key media, VIP’s) to advertise Jumeirah Group’s offerings (rooms, F&B outlets, C&E facilities etc.)
  • Support the development and negotiation of commercial proposals for key clients and partners, collaborating with the Sales functions
  • Ensure the Group’s competitive advantage is compellingly showcased and financial interests are protected.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop strategic alliances for loyalty, lifestyle and other commercial platforms to support .
  • Group expanding and enhancing its strategic partnerships and key accounts activities.
  • Monitor and report the performance of strategic partnerships and key accounts efforts, analysing key performance indicators, ensuring visibility on their return on investment and adjusting efforts accordingly.
  • Lead teams on the identification and evaluation of potential new strategic partnership opportunities, with airlines, travel operators, charities etc.
  • Growing and diversifying the Group’s key accounts portfolio.

Requirements of Director Strategic Partnership

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
  • 6+  years’ experience in a strategic partnership management position.
  • Prior experience of business development / key client accounts management experience.
