The role Director Revenue Cycle at King’s College Hospital London UAE is dedicated to analyzing, coordinating, and building an effective Revenue Cycle. The role holder is responsible for management Structure, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement function within the organization. This position interfaces internally with finance, commercial, ICT and clinical departments and externally with payers as appropriate.

Responsibilities of Director Revenue Cycle

• To manage RCM operations by establishing an efficient RCM team and implementing ICT systems to drive coding, insurance, billing, and collections.
• Minimizing rejections and maintaining corporate relationships to support the organization’s value chain.
• Continuous process improvement: analysis of denial reasons.
• Identify the improvement areas and implement the changes through the overall RCM cycle.
• To provide management visibility on revenue, denials, collections with system generated reports and evaluations for actions.
• Lead training for RCM team and clinical teams to ensure overall RCM linked functions deliver and contribute to the success of the performance of the Company.
• Collection follow up and effective receivable management.
• Identify and resolve claim issues with payers.
• Participate in the final reconciliation with insurance companies if any.
• Prepare and analyze reports on revenue and receivables and coordinate with finance function.
• Design, update and implement policies, procedures and practices to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the RCM function.
• Follow up RCM related regulations and drive required system implementations.
• Provide managerial leadership and direct the selection, supervision, evaluation and development of staff.
• Set objectives and conducts performance reviews for direct reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Following are the requirements for the role of Director Revenue Cycle at King’s College Hospital London UAE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, medicine or related science.
• Minimum seven years of management level experience in RCM in GCC preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• In depth knowledge of claims cost and coding structure and DRG.
• Knowledge of execution of contracts with health Insurance and experience in E-Claim and Revenue Cycle Management.
• Strong analytical skills for assuring effective RCM quality control and audits in place.
• Up-to-date medical knowledge & Recognized coding certification is a plus.
• Significant technical knowledge and experience with respect to regulatory and operational requirements.
• Good knowledge of health insurance concepts.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications and preferably Cerner/ Dimension.
• Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
