Job Description
EDGE Group is actively hiring highly qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a Director Purchase Order Management. The selected candidate will be assigned to work for HALCON Company (subsidiary of EDGE Group). Responsibilities of Director Purchase Order Management
- End-to-End PO Management: Oversee the entire life cycle of purchase orders, from creation to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Implement and optimize PO management systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and automate PO processes.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to update and enhance procurement policies.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to resolve issues related to purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement improvements in the PO fulfillment process.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to procurement teams on PO management processes, compliance, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and PO management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the procurement function.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of PO management processes.
- Generate regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting performance, compliance, and areas for improvement.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for in role of a Director Purchase Order Management are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in implementing and managing PO management systems.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on PO management, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
