Director Purchase Order Management at EDGE Group will be responsible to develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution. This is a senior level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 30000 AED to 60000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Director Purchase Order Management

  • End-to-End PO Management: Oversee the entire life cycle of purchase orders, from creation to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Implement and optimize PO management systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and automate PO processes.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to update and enhance procurement policies.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to resolve issues related to purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement improvements in the PO fulfillment process.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to procurement teams on PO management processes, compliance, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and PO management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the procurement function.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of PO management processes.
  • Generate regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting performance, compliance, and areas for improvement.

Eligibility Requirements for Director Purchase Order Management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on PO management, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
  • Experience in implementing and managing PO management systems.
