Director Compliance And Enablement at Etisalat establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of Business Mobile division under guidance of vertical head. Assists vertical head to design team’s strategic goals and report progress on key objectives. Collaboratively works with all stakeholders across different departments to implement plans and policies as per management guidance. New product streams evaluation and launch. Starting from product-market fit assessment, market research, analysis, scenario projections, pricing models, security approvals, management review and business case approvals, proof of concept runs and eventual launch as applicable (eg. #TAG for Business, MSOC and API monetization). Drives change management for strategic programs to increase overall adoption within team and larger organization level (eg. Digital Deflection program, Digital Roadshows and automation).

Responsibilities Of Director Compliance And Enablement

  • Ensures co-ordination, review and enrichment of long-term strategy and plans.
  • Reviews and defines internal governance policies, procedures and guidelines for Mobile Services and monitor implementation for corrections as needed.
  • Provides and presents regular and ad-hoc analysis on the operational as well as strategic projects.
  • Support decision-making on current and proposed business activities.
  • Supports all key business stakeholders like Service Delivery, Sales, Business Care, Sales Planning, SMB Marketing and Pricing teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing queries and issues affecting customers for Mobile Services domain.
  • Leads as Business segment SPOC for TDRA compliance related matters including policies, audits & incidents majorly related to product compliance via Consumer Protection Regulations (CPR), Voice Spam policy and other numerous guidelines including MNP process automation.
  • Reviews, assesses and advocates Business perspective on new TDRA consultations and guidelines.
  • Understanding & articulating the challenges involved and implementation of finally aligned outcomes in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Leads and manages all compliance/regulatory/internal governance/credit control requirements for Business marketing overall and Mobile in particular.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission to RA, TDRA & Audit teams for various requirements.
  • Manages creation of Bespoke Offers via Bespoke Framework to support Sales & Pricing teams. To complement availability of information
  • Ensure update of product library on continuous basis and working on automation of product info.

What You Will Do More

  • Ensures constant improvements and enhancements in existing products and processes to streamline operations.
  • Resolve customers/sales feedback and complaints including new projects for automation of high volume and high impact activities (eg. post sales requests, product simplification, ownership transfer process, etc).
  • Manages and ensures seamless operational support for Mobile products & services availability across all sales channels & systems as per agreed SLAs (BCRM/CPP, B2B Portal/SMBApp for COCP segment and Muamalati/Sales Portal for CEP segment).
  • Continually reviews the existing setup for enhancements for greater efficiencies and reduced turnaround.
  • Works closely with other functions for key projects for product inputs and support (eg. B2B website revamp with SMB Marketing, PEGA for CVM team, Project SONIC with Pricing, B2B enhancements with CE&T etc).
  • Business Marketing SPOC in the Credit Control Committee i.e. corporate cross-functional team comprising of Finance, Fraud Management, Consumer, Collections and Sales functions.
  • Critical projects and policies / guidelines reviewed and assessed for strong commercial governance & minimizing revenue leakage.
  • Actively manages team members and overseeing departmental operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maximizing operating performance of team towards achieving vertical’s goals through coaching, fostering positive work culture and constructive feedback.
  • Hires staff as needed. Interviewing, shortlisting, hiring, onboarding, training, developing, annual evaluations etc.

Requirements For Director Compliance And Enablement

The eligibility requirements for the role of Director Compliance And Enablement are as under:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent.
  • 10+ Years of Marketing / Operations / Business Analysis, preferably in a large Telecom/ISP environment.
  • Ability to develop, define and articulate business plans and analysis.
  • Industry & Regulatory awareness and Commercial orientation.
  • Market and competitor knowledge.
