Demi Chef De Partie at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Accor Dubai is responsible to assist in the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met at all times.
Responsibilities of Demi Chef De Partie
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus.
- Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback.
- Ensure HACCP procedures are follow and clear records are keep at all times.
- Exceed guest expectations in quality and service of food products.
- Any matter which may affect the interests of hotel should brought to the attention of the Management.
Requirements of Demi Chef De Partie
- Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs professional course.
- 3+ years’ industry experience in upmarket brands with minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong Operational/Technical Knowledge.
- Good Communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
