Demand Planner Al Futtaim Automotive Dubai

The Demand Planner at Al Futtaim Group in Dubai will be responsible for improving the forecast accuracy at the national as well as branch level so that right stock is procured on time and made available to customers. This is achieved by utilizing the tools specially Syncron to monitor the demand transactions and taking timely actions to avoid the risk of run out. There is a need of continuous stakeholder alignment to understand the business and market needs to keep the stock healthy. This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 8000 AED to 20000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Demand Planner

Demand Planning & Analysis

• There is a need of Demand Planner is to successfully manage the customer expectations.
• Successful delivery of operations and projects objectives.
• To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
• To ensure all urgent branch orders are processed on time, articles are created on time, branch stakeholders are kept up to date on ETA.
• Ensure and expedite parts delivery from PDC to branches to service end customer and maintain branch NPS score.
• Support discussions with OEM/Principals to understand Supply Chain constraints and put in place measures to mitigate risk.
• Conduct branch visits, liaise with stakeholders at all levels, review branch performance on a monthly basis.
• To standardize and continuously improve the inventory management/ Supply chain delivery operations.
• Initiate and participate in Kaizen activities.
• To evaluate the stock performance based on the stock turnover, sales, lost sales, lead time and other factors that might affect the inventory performance.
• To minimize the risk of aged stock by evaluating the excess and slow-moving inventory and proactively discuss with the sales & service teams for action plan.
• To provide recommendations to product team to improve the stock health and service levels.
• To update and maintain the parts data health.

Brand Lead as Demand Planner

• Responsible as single point of contact for all Dealerships Workshops or Bodyshops in the UAE for respective brand for Stock/Supply Chain management.
• Recall and Redistribution Order Processing and Follow up.
• Monitor Auto Replenishment orders.
• Review and Ensure availability of Stocked Parts at Branches.
• Follow up on Service Level with respective Branch Representative.

Lost Sales Analysis & Improvements

• Gather inquiry information and analyse to identify part numbers that potentially could increase company revenue.
• Collect Lost Sales information from Sales team and take necessary action to improve the availability.
• Review of Stocked and Non-Stocked Items and analysis of root cause and counter measures and coordinate to Ordering team for further actions.
• Proactively working with Sales team to avoid Last Sales or Local Purchase.

Requirements for Role of Demand Planner

• Bachelors/ master’s in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 5 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain, preferably with Automotive experience.

Skills Desired

• Extensive knowledge of Inventory management systems & Supply chain modules in other ERP systems like SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/MS Projects).
• Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment.
• Skilled in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage mutiple tasks.
• Understanding of agile way of working.
