Hospitality industry is seeking a dependable and experienced individual to join their team as a Delivery Driver. As a key member of their logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to their customers.
Responsibilities of Delivery Driver
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure and upon arrival.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep delivery vehicles clean and well maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements of Delivery Driver
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience of less than 1 year as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
