Job Description

Education industry in Dubai is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Daycare Staff. Responsibilities of Daycare Staff

Supervise and engage with children in age appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational exercises.
Ensure the safety and well being of all children in the daycare center, monitoring their activities and interactions at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and child friendly environment, including tidying up play areas, sanitizing toys and equipment, and assisting with meal and snack preparation.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members, demonstrating warmth, patience, and understanding in all interactions.
Assist with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene routines for infants and toddlers, following established procedures and guidelines.
Implement daily schedules and routines, including nap times, meals, and structured activities, to promote consistency and predictability for children.
Observe and document children’s behavior, development, and milestones, providing feedback and updates to parents and supervisors as needed.
Collaborate with daycare center leadership and colleagues to plan and implement age appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for children.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance
knowledge and skills in childcare practices and early childhood education.

Requirements of Daycare Staff

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in early childhood education or childcare is a plus.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required (training can be provided).
Previous experience of 1-2 years working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, flexibility, and a calm demeanor, especially in challenging or stressful situations.

Ability to lift and carry children, bend and stoop, and stand for extended periods during daily activities.
