Responsibilities Of Database Implementation Engineer

• Install and upgrade MySQL, SQL & Oracle database servers & tools.
• Design and implement database architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Ensure data integrity and implement backup strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure effective database integration.
• Ensure high availability.
• Performance tuning and optimization of databases.
• Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreement.
• Create & maintain comprehensive documentation for the configuration of databases, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Maintain the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the servers associated to Database.

Eligibility Requirements

The minimum requirements for the role of Database Implementation Engineer are as under:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• International Certifications (MCSA SQL Server, MCSE Data Management and Analytics).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure (strong database knowledge).
• MCSA SQL Server, MCSE Data Management and Analytics or higher qualification.
• Solid experience maintaining Oracle Databases.
• Experience in managing projects.
• Experience in Managed Services and customer interactions.
• Working experience in VCloud Director, VMWare, Network and/or Storage.
• Solid understanding of database design principles.
• Solid experience maintaining and applying security policies and procedures.
• Solid experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems & servers.

Desired Skills & Knowledge

• Microsoft SQL Server.
• Oracle RAC.
• Programming / Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Knowledge of Operating Systems including Windows, Linux/UNIX.
• Good knowledge of enterprise level networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, SFTP, Proxy, Firewalls).
• Understanding of Services Oriented, Micro-Services Architectures and how it relates to business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
