Pure Health is currently looking for an experienced and talented Data Quality Analyst to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data by implementing and maintaining data quality standards and processes.

Responsibilities of Data Quality Analyst

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and rectify data quality issues, establish data quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement in data quality management.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and profiling of data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
  • Collaborate with data owners and subject matter experts to understand data quality requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Design and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with business units to define and execute data cleansing activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to enrich and enhance data quality through validation and correction processes.
  • Establish and maintain data quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Regularly monitor and report on the status of data quality, highlighting areas of improvement and success. Investigate and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical issues to management and work towards implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure alignment on data quality objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to end-users on best practices for data input and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards related to data quality.
  • Collaborate with the Data Governance team to contribute to the overall data governance framework.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance data quality management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data quality management.

Qualifications & Experience

The eligibility criteria for the post of Data Quality Analyst is as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/data management, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications will be advantageous.
  • 3-6 years of practical experience in roles related to data quality analysis, data profiling, and data cleansing.

Job Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions, using specialized data governance tools, Excel, SQL, Power Bl, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data quality standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough data analysis and profiling to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining data quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Expert in escalating critical issues to management and implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaboration with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure alignment on data quality objectives.
